The countdown is on, and the 2025 Freehold Revolution football season is almost here! Excitement is building across our community as we prepare to take the field for what promises to be a competitive, high-energy, and community-driven season.

A Season Built on Tradition — and Growth

From our youngest flag football players learning the fundamentals, to our seasoned tackle teams chasing championships, the Revolution continues to stand for hard work, discipline, and pride — on and off the field. This year, we’ve seen record participation numbers, with more Freehold families than ever joining the Revolution family.

Player Safety at the Forefront

In 2025, we’re doubling down on our commitment to safety. From certified coaching in proper tackling techniques to concussion awareness programs and innovative equipment like the Q-Collar, we’re ensuring our athletes can play with confidence and parents can cheer with peace of mind.

Key Dates to Watch

  • Pep Rally: August 15, 6:30 PM at Opatut Park — Our official season kickoff celebration! Relive the night and check out the photo gallery here:

  • Friendship Weekend Games: August 17 — Featuring matchups against Manasquan, Marlboro, and Sayreville in multiple age groups.

  • Opening Weekend: August 23 weekend marks the start of regular-season action.

This year, we’ve provided over $5,000 in scholarships to help ensure that financial challenges never stand in the way of a child joining the team. When you come to a game, you’re not just watching football — you’re watching neighbors, friends, and classmates give their all for their town.
